ATVs and gas masks for the Ukrainian army are funded by cryptocurrency contributions

In order to pay for its army and social help, Ukraine’s Government of Digitalization has used cryptocurrencies and non-fungible assets, including CryptoPunks.

Ukrainian authorities have utilized monies from the government’s cryptocurrency contribution system to buy equipment for the nation’s army while it fights Russia.

Ukraine’s digitalization ministry, Mykhailo Fedorov, revealed on Friday that the government has bought five only trucks that “will prove to be useful for a stressful environment” — likely alluding to situations along the Russian border or where highways have been ruined. Help for Ukraine, a value in creating by the administration in March provided financial support for three of the ATVs.

Help for Ukraine had apparently collected over $60 million in Bitcoins (BTC), Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), Polkadot’s DOT, Solana’s SOL, and USD Coins at the moment of writing (USDC).
